Firmware updater for iRig BlueBoard (equipped with Micro-USB port)
To use iRig BlueBoard with Apple's Bluetooth LE MIDI you'll need to update the firmware inside of your iRig BlueBoard to the latest version.
The iRig BlueBoard Firmware updater automatically detects iRig BlueBoard connected to your PC and updates the firmware, if an update is available.
Follow these steps to update the firmware:
- Register your iRig BlueBoard to your IK User account if you haven’t already. Registration provides you with access to the Firmware updater.
- Once registered, go to the "Firmware Updates" section of your User Area on your computer and download the iRig BlueBoard Firmware updater for Windows.
- Open the battery slot located on the bottom side of iRig BlueBoard and remove the battery to find the Micro-USB port on iRig BlueBoard.
- Take a USB to Micro-USB cable and plug the Micro-USB connector to the Micro-USB port on iRig BlueBoard.
- Launch the iRig BlueBoard Firmware updater. DO NOT CONNECT your iRig BlueBoard yet.
- Plug the USB connector into a free USB port on your Windows computer.
- Turn on the iRig BlueBoard by simultaneously pressing the button D.
- Click "Search Device" to connect to the iRig BlueBoard.
- Click on the update button.
NOTE: Do not unplug your iRig BlueBoard while the updater is running. Doing so may result in permanent damage to the product.
The iRig BlueBoard Firmware Updater requires Windows 7 or later.
