Mallets beyond limits
Most all-in-one sample collections include a marimba and vibraphone and, if you're lucky, a glockenspiel and xylophone and perhaps even orchestra chimes. But what you don't normally get is the variety of each instrument played with different mallets at multiple velocities. Malletopia contains top source instruments that were captured with an articulated assortment of mallets.

A marimba struck with a hard yarn mallet sounds vastly different than a marimba struck with a felt mallet or wooden mallet. You'll even find hits recorded using metal mallets on instruments like vibraphone that normally don't call for such articulations, providing you with more exotic timbres that fit into cinematic, pop or even electronic productions.
The source instruments were recorded with deep round robin techniques so that each SampleTank preset plays and sounds like the real thing, even with repeated notes.
